Eggplants can be cooked in the oven, stewed with vegetables and sour cream, or fried to make appetizers and caviar. They can also be pickled and canned.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious stewed eggplant with sour cream that tastes like mushrooms.
Ingredients:
- onions - 3-4 pcs.
- eggplant - 4 pcs.
- salt - 1/2 or 1 tsp.
- pepper - 1/3 tsp.
- dry garlic - 1 tsp. without a slide
- cream or sour cream - 150-200 ml
- oil for frying
- herbs
Method of preparation:
1️. Cut the onion into small cubes and fry in a frying pan, adding oil, until golden brown.
2️. Add the peeled eggplant and fry until tender.
3️. Add the spices: salt, pepper, garlic, top with cream or sour cream (3-4 tbsp of sour cream), fry for another 2-3 minutes, stirring.
Serve the dish with chopped herbs!
