Tartlets with herring in 20 minutes: a budget appetizer option
Tartlets are a simple and budget-friendly appetizer for a festive table that can be prepared in a hurry. The most important thing is that you can make them with different fillings – whatever you have in the fridge will do.
Food blogger Oksana Pashko shared a recipe for tartlets with herring, beets, and mayonnaise on her YouTube channel (Cooking with Oksana Pashko).
Ingredients:
- tartlets – 15 pcs.
- herring fillet – 1 pc.
- boiled beets – 1 pc.
- mayonnaise – 50 g
- lettuce leaves
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the fillet into small portions.
2. Grate the boiled beets on a fine grater.
3. Grease the tartlets with a little mayonnaise.
4. Put the lettuce leaves neatly and beautifully into the tartlets.
5. Put 1 tsp of beetroot on top of the salad, and put the herring pieces on top of the beetroot.
6. Garnish the tartlets with dill if desired.
