Sweet strawberry biscuits: how to make crispy dough
If you've already had enough strawberries, it's time to make some delicious desserts. A great option would be to make a spectacular but very easy-to-make strawberry biscuit. The dough is very crispy and goes well with the strawberry filling.
The idea of making a crispy biscuit with strawberries was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Victoria (vika.allison).
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese 5% (take drier) - 200 g
- eggs - 1 pc
- rice flour - 70 g
- wheat flour (you can add one in a double portion) - 50 g
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp.
- sweetener
- corn starch
- strawberries
Method of preparation:
1. Wash, dry, and cut the strawberries in half. Mix cottage cheese, egg, and sweetener in a deep bowl, then add flour and baking powder. Knead the dough; it should not stick to your hands.
2. Roll out the dough on parchment, putting cling film on top to prevent the dough from sticking to the rolling pin. Roll out a relatively thin circle. Sprinkle the top with starch, put the strawberries 3 cm from the edges, sprinkle more starch and sweetener on top.
3. Wrap the edges to form a biscuit.
4. Bake for 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees. Cooking time may vary due to different oven models. The dough should be golden brown.
