Adjika can be made with tomatoes and bell peppers. Add garlic, spices, and bitter pepper to spice it up.
A cook shared a recipe for a delicious sweet pepper adjika with garlic and tomato paste on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 3 kg of pepper
- 600 g of tomato paste
- 500 g of vinegar
- 400 g of sugar
- 1 tbsp of salt
- 6-8 pieces of bitter pepper (hot pepper)
- 4 heads of garlic
- 500 g of oil
Method of preparation:
1. Pass all the ingredients through a meat grinder.
2. Transfer to a saucepan, add spices and tomato paste and cook adjika for 1 hour.
3. Then add oil and cook for another 10 minutes.
4. Pour hot sauce into jars and sterilize for 15 minutes.
