Sweet pancakes in a new way: a recipe for jelly filling
The traditional filling for sweet pancakes is cottage cheese. But you can make this dessert in a new way and try something different, namely a jelly filling. It will be ideal if you combine sour cream and colored jelly at the same time. It turns out bright, spectacular and unusual.
Food blogger Olha Holovina, with the nickname olha.holovina, shared a recipe for pancakes with jelly filling on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- jelly - 1 p + 270 ml of boiling water
- gelatin - 10 g + 50 ml of cold water
- sour cream - 250 ml
- sugar - 70 g
- vanilla sugar - 1 p
For the pancakes:
- eggs - 3 pcs.
- flour - 5 tbsp
- milk - 400 ml
- salt - a pinch
- oil - 2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Let's start with the preparation of the jelly filling. To do this, pour boiling water over the colored jelly, stir and leave in the refrigerator until it solidifies.
2. Cut the finished colored jelly into thin long strips.
3. Next, proceed to making pancakes. To do this, beat the eggs with sugar and salt until a fluffy foam forms.
4. Add flour and 100 ml of milk. Stir until smooth.
5. Add the rest of the milk and mix.
6. Pour in the oil, stir.
7. Fry the pancakes. Cool the pancakes completely.
8. While the pancakes are cooling, prepare the sour cream. To do this, pour gelatin with water and leave for 15 minutes to swell.
9. Next, put the gelatin in a saucepan and dissolve over low heat, but do not bring to a boil.
10. Beat sour cream with sugar and vanilla sugar. Mix with gelatin.
11. Form pancakes. Put the sour cream cream on the pancake and spread it over the entire surface. Next, put a strip of jelly on one side and roll the pancake into a roll.
12. Put the finished pancakes in a mold and leave in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
