Ingredients:
- black mulberries - 1.5 kg
- sugar - 1 kg
- citric acid - 1 pinch
Method of preparation:
- Wash the mulberries. Be sure to tear off the tails.
- Put them in a saucepan, cover with sugar, and leave for 2-3 hours to allow the sugar to dissolve completely and the mulberries to release their juice.
- Then put it on low heat, add citric acid, stir and cook until it boils and then for another 5 minutes.
- Pour the hot jam into sterile jars and close with lids immediately.
- Turn them upside down, cover with a warm cloth and let them cool completely.
Store in a dark, cool place.
2. Without boiling
Ingredients:
- mulberries - 1 kg
- sugar - 800 g
- citric acid - 2 tsp
Method of preparation:
- First, sort out the mulberries, tear off the tails, and wash the berry.
- Put in a large container, add citric acid and sugar, and mix.
- Put everything in a blender, beat until smooth and pour into sterile jars, adding a little sugar to each one.
- Close with lids and put in the refrigerator or in a cool, dark place.
