Food blogger Marianna Ryzhman shared on Instagram how to make a sweet and spicy sauce so that it can be enjoyed throughout the winter. She claims that the sauce will perfectly complement barbecue and grilled vegetables.

Ingredients

  • bell pepper - 600 g
  • hot pepper - 250 g
  • 9% vinegar - 100 ml
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • sugar - 600 g
  • corn starch - 15 g
  • water for starch - 100 ml

The method of preparation

1. Grind bell and hot peppers in a meat grinder. Add salt and sugar and leave for 10 minutes.

2. Add water and vinegar. Put on the stove and cook for 15 minutes from the time of boiling.

3. Mix water with starch, pour into the boiling mixture and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

4. Pour into sterile jars, cover and leave to cool completely.
