Sweet and soft stewed cabbage in a frying pan: what to add

Food blogger Oksana Bilinska with the nickname oxana_bil shared a recipe for stewed cabbage in a creamy sauce on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- cabbage -1 pc.
- carrots - 1 pc
- water - 150 ml
- onion -1 pc
- garlic - 2-3 cloves
- 33% cream - 200-300 ml
- sour cream - 2 tbsp
- spices: salt, pepper, paprika, nutmeg
Method of preparation:
1. Prepare some ingredients: chop cabbage and onion and grate carrots.
2. At this stage, lightly fry the onion until golden brown.
3. Mix the cabbage with the carrots and put it in a frying pan with 150 ml of water. Simmer until the cabbage is half cooked.
4. Then add garlic and onion. Simmer for a few minutes.
5. Add cream, sour cream, spices and salt. Simmer under the lid for 7-10 minutes.
