Summer salad with peaches and chicken: how to season deliciously so that the dish is not greasy
Chicken and seasonal juicy peaches go well together in a salad. The dish is very light and nutritious. And in no case should it be seasoned with mayonnaise.
The idea of preparing a summer salad with peaches was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Natalia with the nickname talli sun. For the dressing, take olive oil, lemon juice, mustard, and a few other simple ingredients.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet
- peaches (nectarines)
- fresh cucumber
- avocado
- mixed salad
- balsamic sauce
For the marinade:
- olive oil - 3 tbsp.
- honey - 1 tbsp
- lemon (or lime) juice - 1 tbsp
- mustard in grains - 1 tbsp
- dried herbs (oregano, basil) - 0.5 tsp each
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Mix the marinade.
2. Cut the chicken into small pieces, peaches (nectarines) into slices.
3. Put the chicken and peaches in a bowl.
4. Pour over the marinade, stir.
5. Leave for 30 minutes.
6. Fry the fillet pieces in a little oil until golden brown, remove.
7. Fry the peaches (nectarines) in the same pan.
8. Cut the cucumber and avocado into thin slices.
9. Put the lettuce mix, cucumbers, avocado, fillets and peaches on a plate
10. Drizzle with balsamic sauce.
