Summer peach pie without rolling out the dough: what to make the base of
A phyllo dough pie is an elementary dessert for which you don't have to roll out anything. You can buy the base at any store. And juicy seasonal peaches are perfect for the filling.
The idea of making a delicious juicy phyllo dough pie with peaches was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yuliia Senych (yuliia.senych). Add a creamy filling on top.
Ingredients:
- phyllo dough - 10-12 sheets
- cream - 300 ml.
- eggs - 3 pcs.
- sugar - 4 tsp.
- peaches/nectarines - 2-3 pcs.
- vanilla sugar - 10 g
- butter or oil for greasing baking sheets and molds - 40 g
Method of preparation:
1. Remove the dough from the package in advance and leave it at room temperature for 20-30 minutes to defrost.
2. Melt the butter until it becomes liquid.
3. Grease all the dough sheets.
4. Assemble all layers of dough into an accordion.
5. Put it into a mold greased with butter.
6. For the filling, mix the eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar and cream.
7. Stir until smooth.
8. Put the peaches in the pie and pour over the filling.
9. Bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
10. Sprinkle with powdered sugar at the end.
