The best breakfast is the one that is quick to prepare and is as healthy and hearty as possible. This is definitely the case with cottage cheese casseroles, syrnyky, omelets, and thin and fluffy pancakes with berries and honey.

Nutritionist Svitlana Fus shared a recipe for delicious baked cottage cheese and apple pies with raisins and, most importantly, no sugar, on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • cottage cheese - 200 g
  • apples - 400 g
  • egg - 2 pcs
  • semolina - 100 g
  • milk - 100 ml
  • wholemeal flour - 2 tsp
  • raisins (optional) - 50 g
  • salt - a pinch

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the apples, peel them, and grate them on a coarse grater.
  2. Mix semolina and milk, boil for 10 minutes and leave to cool.
  3. Then add 1 egg and mix well. Add salt and mix again.
  4. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve, add the egg and mix.
  5. Put the cottage cheese in the center of each piece of dough, form pies and bread them well in flour.
  6. Put parchment on a baking sheet, grease it with vegetable oil, put the pies and bake at 180 C for 15-20 minutes.

The dish is best served hot. You can add sour cream or honey to taste.
