Stuffed potatoes with canned fish and cheese: a recipe for a budget and hearty dish for a penny
Potatoes can be used to make delicious casseroles, mashed potatoes, zrazy, salads, and croquettes. They can also be baked, stewed, fried, and even stuffed.
The cook shared a recipe for delicious stuffed potatoes with sprats in tomato and hard cheese on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 1 can of sprats in tomato sauce
- 100 g of hard cheese
- 1/2 carrot
- green onions
- onion (optional)
- 100 ml of milk + 50 grams of butter
- a pinch of paprika (for decoration)
- sunflower oil / salt
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the potatoes well, make cuts, sprinkle with salt, drizzle with oil and wrap tightly in foil and bake at 200 C along with 1 carrot for an hour or until soft.
2. Then cut off the top of the potatoes, take out the middle. Mash the potatoes, adding milk/butter and mash well.
3. Filling for the potatoes: mix sprat in tomato sauce, green onions and grated cheese, mix well.
4. Put the filling into the potatoes, top with the grated carrots and bake for another 20 minutes at 180°C.
5. When ready, put mashed potatoes on top - you can use a pastry bag. Put pickled onions on top and sprinkle with dry paprika.
