Stuffed cabbage rolls: the most delicious way to cook the dish
Cabbage rolls will be much tastier and juicier if you cook them in the oven. If they are stewed at a low temperature, they will taste as if they came from the oven. And they won't fall apart for sure.
The idea of cooking cabbage rolls as if from the oven was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tamara Lozynska(tomka_recepti). It is best to add rice to the minced meat.
Cook the rice:
1. Cover the rice (500 g) with water in a 1:1 ratio.
2. Put on the fire.
3. Turn off immediately after boiling.
Minced meat
You need the same amount of minced meat as rice - 500 g.
Prepare a roast:
1. For this amount of rice, you need 2 large carrots and an onion in a frying pan.
2. Add ketchup.
Prepare the cabbage:
1. Cut out the middle of the cabbage.
2. Dip in boiling water and steam until the leaves come off easily.
Prepare the dressing:
Combine ketchup, homemade dressing, cream, water, favorite spices (optional)
Final preparations:
1. Form the cabbage rolls.
2. Put in a cast iron pan.
2. Add the dressing.
3. Put in the oven to bake for 2 hours at 175 degrees.
4. After cooking, leave to stand in the oven off.
