A food blogger named viktoriia_chui knows how to make strawberry jam. On Instagram, she said that this recipe makes the preservation thick and incredibly tasty.

Ingredients

  • strawberries - 1 kg
  • sugar - 500 gr
  • agar-agar - 8 gr

The method of preparation

1. Wash the strawberries and put them in a container in which the jam will be cooked.

2. Add sugar and turn on the heat. Stirring occasionally, bring to a boil and cook for 3-5 minutes.

3. Turn off the heat, cover the future jam with a lid and leave for 8 hours.

4. Mix agar-agar with 1 tbsp of sugar and add the mixture to the strawberries.

5. Turn on the heat, bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. Pour the jam into sterilized jars and close with the lids.
