In hot weather, you want to taste something refreshing. But you don't want to give up sweets either. So you should let your imagination run wild and come up with an interesting summer dessert.

This is exactly what a food blogger with the nickname thefoodhub.by ilona thought. On Instagram, she offered a recipe for a strawberry dessert with a secret. This dish will not only refresh the body but also create a good mood because it contains champagne.

Ingredients for jelly (for 2 servings)

  • Champagne – 250 ml
  • Sugar – 25 grams
  • Gelatin – 5 g
  • Strawberries – 150 g

Ingredients for panna cotta

  • Gelatin – 7 grams
  • Cream 33% – 300 ml
  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Strawberries – 300 g

Method of preparation

1. Soak both parts of gelatin in 3 tbsp of water each.

2. Prepare the champagne jelly. Cut 150 g of strawberries into medium slices.

3. Combine the swollen gelatin in a saucepan with the champagne and sugar, and put on the fire.

4. With constant stirring, bring to dissolve the sugar and gelatin, but not to a boil.

5. Place the glasses or bowls in the additional dishes in a tilted position.

6. Put the strawberries in the glasses and pour the champagne mixture over them.

7. Put the whole structure in the refrigerator until it hardens. For about 2-3 hours.

8. When the jelly has hardened, proceed to make the panna cotta. Combine gelatin with cream and sugar in a saucepan. Turn on the heat.

9. Stir constantly, and bring the sugar and gelatin to dissolve. Do not bring it to a boil.

10. Blend the strawberries into a puree with a blender. Add a third of the strawberry puree to the cream and mix. Add the remaining part and mix again.

11. Pour the preparation over the frozen champagne jelly. Put it in the fridge for 2-3 hours until it hardens.
