Strawberry and raspberry jam
Strawberry and raspberry jam is a favorite treat for both children and adults. Besides, it is very healthy and very easy to prepare.
Pastry chef and MasterChef judge Liza Hlinska shared an unusual recipe for strawberry and raspberry jam with black pepper that will definitely surprise you.
Ingredients:
- water - 300 ml
- strawberries - 500 g
- raspberries - 320 g
- sugar - 560 g
- balsamic vinegar - 15 ml
- lemon juice - 30 g
- black peppercorns - 5-6 pcs.
Method of preparation:
- Wash the strawberries and raspberries well, if the berries are large, you can cut them.
- Pound the pepper well in a mortar.
- Make the syrup: mix water and sugar, and cook for about 25 minutes until it thickens.
- Then add the berries, vinegar, and pepper, mix everything thoroughly, and cook over medium heat for about an hour.
- Pour the finished jam into sterile jars and close the lid tightly, turn them upside down, and when they are completely cool, you can put them in a dark place.
