Stewed eggplants in sour cream: how to prepare this delicious vegetable side dish
Eggplants are a vegetable for amateurs. However, they can be cooked in a way that will impress anyone. Namely, with sour cream, garlic and herbs. It turns out to be an unrealistically tasty and moderately spicy vegetable side dish.
The recipe for eggplant in sour cream was published on the smachnoteka cooking blog on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- eggplants - 2-3 pcs
- onions - 3 pcs
- garlic - 1 head
- sour cream - 200 g
- herbs, spices, salt
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the onion into medium cubes. Fry over medium heat.
2. Peel the eggplant and cut them into large cubes.
3. Add to the onion. Season with salt and simmer under the lid until the eggplant is tender.
4. Pass the garlic through a press.
5. Chop the greens.
6. Mix garlic, herbs, sour cream, salt and spices.
7. Once the eggplant is ready, add the sauce. Stew for another 2-3 minutes.
