Cucumbers can be preserved with garlic, tomatoes, berry leaves, mustard, and ketchup. It is very important to choose small and young cucumbers for this.
A cook shared a recipe for delicious cucumbers with mustard, pepper, and garlic on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 8 kg of cucumbers
- 2 tbsp of sugar
- 2 tbsp of odorless vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp of 9% vinegar
- 6 tbsp of salt
- 4 tbsp mustard powder
- 4 tbsp ground black pepper
- 4 tbsp crushed garlic
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the cucumbers and cut them into quarters lengthwise. If they are small, cut them in half.
2. Add the remaining ingredients, mix and leave to stand for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
3. Wash the jars, put the cucumbers in them and sterilize for 12 minutes. Take everything out of the water so that they do not overcook, close with the lids, cool and store in the basement.
