Spicy pickled champignons in a day: the easiest recipe for a delicious appetizer
Champignons are ideal mushrooms for making salads, and they can also be baked, stuffed, fried, salted, and pickled. They go very well with various vegetables, meats, and sauces.
Chef Eduard Nasirov shared a recipe for delicious, spicy pickled champignons on Instagram, which would be an ideal appetizer.
Ingredients:
- champignons – 300 g
- juice of 1 lemon
- Italian herbs
- mustard in grains – 1/3 tsp
- chili – 1 pc
- coriander seeds
- apple cider vinegar – 1/3 cup
- cumin – 1/2-1/3 tsp
- salt, pepper – a pinch
- garlic – 2 cloves
Method of preparation:
1. Mix vinegar and lemon juice.
2. Peel the mushrooms and pour the mixture over them, cover and leave for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
3. Warm the coriander, mustard seeds, and cumin in a saucepan or frying pan; when the spices begin to crackle, pour in the oil and garlic and remove from the heat.
4. Stir and let cool until warm.
5. Chop and add the chili and other ingredients.
6. Pour the mushrooms with oil and vinegar, mix and put them in jars, put them in a cool place for a day, and stir several times.
Mushrooms can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks!
