Spicy baked corn: a recipe for a picnic dish

Young corn can not only be boiled in water and milk but also baked in the oven and cooked in the microwave. Add spices, oil, and cheese for a bright flavor.

Hector Jimenez-Bravo shared a recipe for delicious baked corn with spices and oil on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • Corn - 1 cob
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • Paprika - 1 tsp.
  • Chili flakes - 1 tsp.
  • Dry basil - 1 tsp.
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Lime for serving

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the ear of corn in half, and then each half into quarters.

2. Combine the olive oil, paprika, chili flakes, basil, and salt in a small bowl. Mix well.

3. Put the corn in a bowl or on a plate, pour over the spice mixture, and mix thoroughly so that each piece is evenly coated with the spices.

4. Put the marinated corn on parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 160-170C for 30-40 minutes.

Serve hot with lime for even more flavor!
