Soup of the day: how to prepare red cabbage cream soup
Today we are sharing with you a recipe for red cabbage cream soup with a bright lavender hue and a very delicate taste. It is an extremely easy-to-prepare dish and a great alternative to the usual pumpkin one in the cold season.
- red cabbage - half
- potatoes - 2 pcs
- onion - 1 pc
- broth - 3 cups
- cream - 3-4 tbsp
- oil - 3 tbsp
- salt - to taste
- Wash and peel the vegetables. Dice the onion and potatoes and chop the cabbage.
- Fry the onion in vegetable oil until golden brown.
- Put the potatoes and cabbage in a saucepan, add broth and salt and bring to a boil.
- Add the sautéed onions and cook for 15-20 minutes until the potatoes and cabbage are soft.
- Pour cream into the finished soup and beat everything with a blender.
