Homemade gingerbread and cookies are among the simplest baked goods. And if you don't have milk or kefir on hand, it's not a problem, because the dough for the dessert can be made with regular butter. In addition, it will keep the gingerbread soft for a long time and won't get stale.

Ingredients:

  • butter – 1 tsp.
  • peeled apples – 370 g
  • juice of 1\2 lemon
  • cinnamon – 1 tsp.
  • flour – 370 g
  • baking powder – 1 tsp.
  • sugar – 175 g
  • eggs – 1 pc

  • salt – 0.5 tsp
  • vanilla – 1 tsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Heat the butter in a frying pan. Add peeled chopped apples.

2. At the same time add the lemon juice and cinnamon. Simmer until soft.

3. Mash the cooked apples with a fork or beat them with a blender until puree. Cool.

4. Meanwhile, mix the flour and baking powder.

5. Add melted butter, sugar, salt, vanilla, and eggs to the cooled apples. Stir to combine.

6. Gradually add the flour mixture to the apple mixture. Knead the dough.

7. Form cookies with wet hands. Put on a baking sheet covered with parchment.

8. Bake at 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
