"Broken Glass" is a very popular cake based on milk mass with pieces of jelly. You don't need to bake anything for this dessert, because everything freezes perfectly in the refrigerator. But if you have time, it will be much tastier to make a sponge cake.

The idea of making the popular dessert "Broken Glass" with sponge cake was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Galina Maksymiuk (maksymiuk_g). It is not only delicious, but also very attractive.

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • sugar - 65 g
  • flour - 60 g
  • cocoa - 20 g
  • baking powder - 0.5 tsp
  • milk - 40 ml.
  • vegetable oil - 25 ml.

Method of preparation:

1. Beat eggs with sugar.

2. Add flour, cocoa and baking powder.

3. Stir with a spatula.

4. Combine the oil with milk and add a spoonful of dough.

5. Stir and pour into the main mass, mix.

6. Bake at 175 degrees for 22 minutes.

Ingredients for the jelly:

  • homemade sour cream - 500 g
  • powdered sugar - 120 g
  • gelatin 25 g + cold water 130 ml.
  • milk - 80 ml.
  • ready-made jelly - 3 pieces (dilute the jelly with half the amount of water indicated on the package)

Method of preparation:

1. Pour gelatin with water, leave to swell.

2. Beat sour cream with powdered sugar, add chopped jelly.

3. Melt gelatin in a water bath, add milk.

4. Pour in the sour cream, mix quickly, pour into the mold.

5. Put in the refrigerator until it hardens.

6. When it hardens, pour over another pack of chilled jelly.

7. Put in the refrigerator overnight.
