Simple cherry liqueur: recipe for a tasty and budget drink

Cherries can be used to make not only jam, preserves, and compotes for the winter but also delicious sauces and liqueurs.

A cook shared a recipe for a delicious cherry liqueur made with vodka on her YouTube channel.

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter of cherries
  • 33 pieces of cherry leaves
  • 120-150 g of sugar
  • 1 liter of water
  • 0.5 tsp. citric acid
  • 300 ml of vodka

Method of preparation:

1. Sort the cherries and wash them thoroughly. Add the leaves and sugar and cover with water. Add 1/2 tsp of citric acid for color and mix again.

2. Put the pot on the stove and cook over low heat for about 30 minutes after boiling.

3. After 30 minutes, turn off the stove, cover and leave in a cool place to cool.

4. Then pour the liquid through a sieve and add vodka. Mix and pour into a glass dish.
