Simple and tasty salad with boiled beets: better than Shuba

A traditional salad usually prepared with boiled beets is Shuba. This dish is more popular in winter. And if you want to make a salad with fresh beets in the summer, you should use the following recipe idea: replace herring with red fish, mayonnaise with balsamic cream, and add a few more simple and healthy ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • beets - 2 pcs.
  • salad mix - 70 g
  • red fish - 200 g
  • lentils - 30 g
  • cucumber - 1 pc.
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • salt
  • pine nuts - 20 g
  • balsamic cream

Cooking method:

1. Boil beets, fish, and lentils.

2. Put the sliced fish and beetroot, mixed salad, and lentils on a plate.

3. Drizzle with oil and salt.

4. Add the sliced cucumber, sprinkle with nuts and pour the balsamic cream over.
