Ingredients:
- Beetroot – 700 g
- Potatoes – 600 g
- Carrots – 500 g
- Herring – 500 g
- Mayonnaise – 400 g
On a pickled apple:
- Apple – 200 g
- Lemon juice – 0.5 pcs.
- Salt – 2 g
For pickled onions:
- Onion – 200 g
- Salt – 2 tsp.
- Sugar – 6 tsp.
- Apple cider vinegar – 6 tbsp.
- Hot water – 200 g
Method of preparation:
1. Boil and grate the vegetables. Cut the herring.

2. Grate the apple, add lemon juice and salt, mix.

3. Chop and marinate the onion.

4. Assemble the salad in layers: potatoes, mayonnaise, herring, onions, apple, beets. And grease each layer with mayonnaise.
