Semolina pie is a delicious homemade pastry. It is made mainly with kefir and various fillings: apple, cherries, banana, cottage cheese, and even pumpkin.

The recipe for semolina pie was published on one of the culinary blogs (recepti_dariko) on Instagram. According to the recipe, the pie should be cooked with yogurt, which makes it very tender, and when ready, it should be poured with lemon syrup, which makes it moist.

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • fruit yogurt - 500 g
  • semolina - 500 g
  • butter - 125 g
  • sugar - 200 g
  • eggs - 4 pcs
  • vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp

Syrup:

  • sugar - 125 g
  • water - 125 ml
  • juice of 1 lemon

Method of preparation:

1. First, beat the whites to a fluffy foam.

2. Separately, beat the yolks with butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, add baking powder.

3. When the sugar is completely dissolved, add the yogurt and semolina in stages. Mix until smooth.

4. Finally add the egg whites and mix gently.

5. Pour the dough onto a baking sheet covered with parchment. Bake at 180 degrees for 35 minutes.

6. For the syrup, mix all the ingredients, put on the fire and cook for 5 minutes after boiling.

7. Cut the finished pie into pieces, pour the syrup over, and cool.
