Semolina cake with kefir: what ingredient will make the pasty moist and tender

Semolina cake a delicious homemade cake cooked mainly with kefir to make it fluffy and moist. You can also make the pastry with pumpkin, which gives it a special delicate texture.

Food blogger Yulia fedorenko_pp shared a recipe for moist semolina cake with pumpkin on her Instagram page.

Ingredients:

  • pumpkin - 350 g
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • sweetener
  • eggs - 2 pcs
  • kefir - 250 ml
  • semolina - 270 g

Method of preparation:

1. Grate the pumpkin on a fine grater.

2. Add the lemon zest.

3. Add sweetener, baking powder, eggs and kefir to the mass. Mix thoroughly.

4. Add semolina, mix and leave for 30 minutes.

5. Pour the finished batter into the mold. Bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
