Savoyardi biscuits for the famous Tiramisu dessert: how to make it at home without any extra effort
Do you like to make Tiramisu at home, but always buy Savoyardi cookies in the store? Why not break this vicious circle and create a completely homemade dessert?
A food blogger with the nickname receptuk.ua shared how to make Savoyardi cookies at home on Instagram. It turns out that it doesn't take much effort.
Ingredients for 30 pcs:
- Eggs - 3 pcs
- Sugar - 100 pcs
- Flour - 90 gr
- Corn starch - 20 g
- Salt - a pinch
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the whites until foamy and gradually add sugar, continuing to beat. The mass should be dense and not fall off the whisk.
2. Beat the egg yolks separately for 5 minutes.
3. Sift the flour and starch and mix with a whisk.
4. Add the yolks and half of the dry ingredients to the whites. Mix and add the rest of the dry ingredients.
5. Knead the dough thoroughly and transfer it to a pastry bag fitted with a nozzle of type 806.
6. Press the dough out to a length of 12 cm on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
7. Bake the cookies at 175 degrees for 10 minutes and let them cool completely.
