The idea of preparing delicious sour tomatoes without vinegar is published on the Instgaram page of food blogger Tetiana Hakopyan (recept dny y tanya akopyan). The marinade is made of just three ingredients.

Ingredients per 1 liter of cold water:

  • salt - 2 tbsp.
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • mustard powder - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Place cherry and currant leaves in the bottom of a large plastic container.

2. Chop the garlic cloves.

3. Place a parasol of dill.

4. Rinse the tomatoes and place in a plastic container.

5. Repeat such layers until the container is completely filled.

6. Put horseradish leaves on top.

7. Mix all ingredients for the brine.

8. Pour the resulting mixture over the tomatoes, cover tightly and place in a cool place.
