Salted cucumbers with garlic and horseradish in a jar: a quick appetizer
Pickled cucumbers are definitely one of the favorite snacks that can easily complement both everyday and festive tables. All you need is your favorite spices and herbs. Garlic and horseradish give the dish a special and spicy flavor.
Food blogger Lilia (lileklilek2) shared a recipe for lightly salted cucumbers in a jar on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- cucumbers - 1.7 kg
- salt - 2 tbsp
- dill
- garlic
- horseradish (root and leaves)
- bitter pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Put the greens in a jar.
2. Add salt and place the cucumbers. Wash the cucumbers well and cover them with cold water for several hours.
3. Pour water into the jar, close the lid with a nylon lid, and shake well.
4. Leave for several days at room temperature. Shake the jar periodically.
