Salad with dandelion leaves: how to prepare a healthy dish
Dandelion can not only fascinate with its appearance and aroma but also become a great addition to dishes. For example, salads. Dandelion leaves in this case have a spicy flavor, pleasant bitterness and are crunchy.
Food blogger Victoria shared a recipe for salad with dandelion leaves and poached egg on her Picantecooking culinary blog.
Ingredients:
- dandelion leaves - 2 bunches
- bacon - 100 g
- vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
- honey - 1.5 tsp.
- apple cider vinegar - 2.5 tbsp.
- mustard - 1 tbsp.
- onion - 1/2 pcs
- cucumbers - 2 pcs
- sunflower seeds - 30 g
- salt and pepper
For poached eggs:
- eggs - 2 pcs
- water - 1.5 liters
- wine vinegar - 1 tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the cucumbers and onions.
2. Wash the dandelion leaves.
3. Fry the sunflower seeds.
4. Whisk honey, mustard and vinegar in a bowl until smooth.
5. Fry the bacon.
6. Add the onion and dressing to the bacon and salt. Fry until soft.
7. Meanwhile, boil the poached eggs.
8. Mix all the ingredients.
