Honey cake is one of the most delicious cakes. There are many recipes for this dessert, and usually a classic cake is not easy and time-consuming to prepare. But you can always find a great and simple recipe for a delicious treat and bake it in just 30 minutes.

Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko on his website shared a recipe for a delicious Honey cake, which consists of just three cakes and a delicious sour cream cream.

Ingredients:

For the cakes:

  • flour – 600 g
  • honey – 4 tbsp.
  • butter – 150 g
  • sugar – 300 g
  • eggs – 5 pcs.
  • baking soda – 1.5 tsp
  • salt – a pinch

For the cream:

  • sour cream – 500 g
  • Powdered sugar – 100 g
  • nuts – 80 g

Method of preparation:

1. Beat eggs with sugar and salt into a fluffy foam.

2. Add honey to the mixture and continue whisking.

3. Sift the flour, add it together with the baking soda, mix until smooth.

4. Melt the butter, let it cool slightly and pour it into the dough, mix thoroughly.

5. Take three pans or one, cover with parchment, grease with butter, and pour in the finished batter.

6. Put in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 180 °C.

7. Cream: mix sour cream with powdered sugar and beat well.

8. Chop the nuts.

9. Allow the finished cakes to cool and cut off the tops, grease generously with cream, sprinkle the top with chopped nuts.

10. It is better to put the finished cake in the refrigerator for a few hours, but you can eat it right away.
