Puffy apple pancakes for breakfast: what you need to add besides kefir
What could be better than pancakes for breakfast? They are especially tasty and truly summer-like when complemented with fruit: apples or bananas. And a fluffy texture can be achieved by cooking the dish with kefir, adding a little baking soda to it, which will only enhance the effect.
Food blogger Khrystyna (chris.godij) shared a recipe for fluffy apple pancakes with kefir on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- kefir - 1 glass
- baking soda - 0.5 tsp
- eggs - 1 pc
- sugar - 50 g
- flour - 1.5 cups
- apples - 1 pc
- cinnamon
Method of preparation:
1. Add baking soda to kefir, mix, and leave for 10 minutes.
2. Beat eggs with sugar separately.
3. Mix the resulting egg mass with kefir.
4. Peel and chop the apples. Add to the total mass.
5. Gradually add flour. Stir to combine.
6. Fry the pancakes in a pan greased with oil.
