Pouch pilaf for a hearty dinner in 40 minutes
Pilaf is one of the most delicious and satisfying dishes based on rice, meat, vegetables, and spices. It can be made from any rice, and as for meat, you can add not only lamb, but also chicken and veal.
Cook and food blogger Olha Matvii shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious and satisfying pilaf in a package that you can easily make at home (to watch the video, scroll to the end of the page).
Ingredients:
- Steamed rice – 400 g
- Water – 800 ml
- Meat – 650 g
- Garlic – 1 head
- Onions – 4-5 pcs
- Carrots – 2 pcs
- Spices for pilaf – 2 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the meat into medium pieces and fry in a pan.
2. Dice the onion and carrots and fry them in a frying pan, mix with the meat.
3. Add spices to the dry rice and mix.
4. Put some meat and vegetables in the sleeve, then rice and meat again.
5. Put the sleeve into a baking dish, cover with water, and put in the oven for 40 minutes at 180°C.
Ready-made pilaf will be very tasty, crumbly, and satisfying.
