Potato pancake from fried potatoes for lunch: a recipe shared by Volodymyr Yaroslavsky
Potatoes are one of the most popular and most consumed vegetables, which can be used to make both simple and original dishes, from simple mashed potatoes to pies and casseroles. But even such a simple product can be cooked incorrectly, for example, fried so that it becomes "mush" or made into dark, bruised pancakes.
Culinary expert Volodymyr Yaroslavsky shared a recipe for a delicious potato pancake on Instagram, which is prepared using the same technology as fried potatoes.
Cooking tip: for better flavor, it is better to use potatoes that are well-boiled and yellow in the middle!
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 2 pcs.
- flour - 2 tsp.
- onion - 1/2 pc.
- salt, pepper - to taste
- herbs - 10 g
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the potatoes into long strips and the onion into thin strips.
2. Transfer to a bowl, add salt, ground pepper, and any spices.
3. Mash the potatoes well with your hands, add a little flour and mix.
4. Heat a frying pan and put the potatoes, fry over medium heat on each side for 4-5 minutes. Then reduce the heat and fry a little more on both sides for 3 minutes.
5. Sprinkle the dish with greens and add pickles before serving!
