Potato casserole with minced meat and mushrooms for lunch: it takes only 15 minutes to prepare
A casserole is a great dish for a hearty and tasty lunch or dinner. They can be prepared with a variety of delicious fillings, on different bases, ranging from salty to cottage cheese and berry. One of the most delicious and satisfying is potato pancake, which can be supplemented with cheese, cream, and herbs.
Chef Tamara ( tomka_recepti ) shared a recipe for a delicious, hearty cheese casserole with minced meat, cheese, and mushrooms on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- potatoes
- cottage cheese
- butter
- milk
Filling:
- any minced meat
- spices
- onion
- pepper
- cream
- mushrooms
- cheese
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the peeled potatoes in salted water until tender.
2. Add butter and milk to the potatoes, mash them and put the mashed potatoes in a baking dish.
3. Fry the minced meat until cooked with the addition of oil and spices, put this mixture on the mashed potatoes.
4. Cut the onion into half rings and fry in vegetable oil, add the chopped mushrooms and fry again, season with salt and pepper, pour in the cream and simmer for 1-2 minutes. Then put this mixture on the minced meat.
5. Sprinkle the casserole generously with cheese and bake in the oven before serving, for 10-15 minutes to melt the cheese and heat everything well.
