Popular bechamel sauce at home: you need only 4 ingredients
Delicious sauces always reveal the taste of familiar dishes in a new way. The key is to combine the ingredients that best suit your preferences. But if you choose a sauce called bechamel, you won't go wrong. Even though it contains only four ingredients, they will perfectly complement any culinary masterpiece: casserole, pasta, or salad.
The idea of making a classic bechamel sauce was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Svitlana with the nickname my_culinary_achievements.
Ingredients:
- butter – 25 g
- wheat flour – 25 g
- milk – 250 ml
- salt, pepper, nutmeg
Method of preparation:
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the flour.
2. Mix until smooth and start pouring in a thin stream of milk, stirring constantly.
3. Bring the homogeneous mass to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.
4. When cooking, add salt and pepper (it is better to use white pepper, as the sauce itself is white). Add a little grated nutmeg.
5. Rub the sauce through a sieve.
6. Cover with cling film in contact and let cool.
