Plum pie with shortcrust pastry and tender filling: recipe

Plum is an ideal filling for desserts and pastries, particularly for pies. Such a pie is quite sweet on its own thanks to the filling, but the sour plum perfectly balances the overall flavor. In addition, making a plum pie is easy as it requires a minimum of ingredients and time.
Food blogger Anhelina (angelinazinkovaa) shared a recipe for a plum pie on her TikTok page.
Ingredients:
Dough:
- flour - 200 g
- butter - 100 g
- sugar - 20 g
- salt - a pinch
- egg yolk - 1 pc
- lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- ice water - 2 tbsp.
The filling:
- whites - 1 pc
- eggs - 2 pcs
- sugar - 130 g
- starch - 2 tbsp
- unsweetened yogurt - 150 g
Method of preparation:
1. For the dough, grind flour with butter to crumbs.
2. Add the egg yolk, sugar, lemon juice and water. Knead the dough and put it in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. To do this, simply mix all the ingredients until smooth.
4. Prepare the plums: wash them and remove the pits.
5. Form the pie. Roll out the finished dough 3-4 mm thick and put it into the mold, forming the sides.
6. Add plums and the filling.
7. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 60 minutes.
