Plum ice cream in 10 minutes: sharing an original recipe for a safe dessert
Ice cream is a dessert that everyone loves. Most importantly, it can be made at home from natural products, including berries and fruits.
Cook Vita shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious, light plum sorbet that takes only 10 minutes to prepare.
Tip: for the first 2-3 hours, it is advisable to take the sorbet out of the freezer and stir it every 30 minutes to ensure that the mass is frozen evenly.
Ingredients:
- plums – 600-700 g
- juice of 1 lemon
- juice of 1/2 orange
- sugar – 175 g
- honey – 1 tbsp
- corn starch – 20 g
- water – 75 g
Method of preparation:
1. Remove the seeds from the plums, kill the plums with a blender and rub through a sieve, put the finished puree in the refrigerator.
2. Combine the water and starch.
3. Mix orange juice with lemon juice, add sugar, and bring to a boil. When the juice begins to boil, pour in the starch water and cook until thickened with constant stirring, cool.
4. Mix the cold puree with the brewed juice and honey. Put it in a container and put it in the freezer.
Leave the sorbet on the table for 10 minutes before serving!
