Pizza without flour: what to make a healthy dough from
Pizza can be appetizing, crispy, and satisfying even without flour. It's also very dietary. You just need to use one extremely simple ingredient to make the perfect dough for the base. Just a few manipulations and you will get a delicious dish that will not harm your figure.
The idea of making pizza without flour was published on the rafael_vegan_food Instagram page. For this dish, the dough is made from lentils.
Ingredients for the dough:
- dry red small lentils – 150 g
- salt, spices – to taste
- water
Method of preparation:
1. Soak the lentils overnight.
2. Rinse, add a little water, and beat with a blender until the consistency of sour cream.
3. Add spices and salt to taste.
4. Divide the prepared dough into 2 parts.
5. Heat a large frying pan, add a drop of oil, put the dough, and smooth it with a spoon.
6. Fry over moderate heat.
7. Turn the base on a baking sheet so that the fried side is on top, and put the filling in.
8. Filling options: tomato sauce, mushrooms, red onions, peppers, corn, cashew mayonnaise, a little soy milk, and sourdough yeast.
9. Or: tomato sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, peppers, olives, red onions, cashew mayonnaise. Bake in a preheated oven for 10-15 minutes.
10. Sprinkle with herbs on top.
