Pizza pie with meat for a hearty lunch and dinner: a recipe from Olha Matvii
Pizza and pies are ideal options for a quick, satisfying, tasty lunch or dinner. As a rule, they are made from different doughs and with different fillings: meat, fish, cheese, and vegetables.
Cook Olha Matvii shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious pastry dish that can replace both pizza and pie.
Ingredients:
- Unleavened puff pastry – 500g
- Assorted minced meat – 500g
- Onion – 1 pc
- Cottage cheese – 200 g
- Vinegar 9% – 100 ml
- Water – 100 ml
- Salt and spices – to taste
- Ketchup – 3 tbsp
Method of preparation:
1. Fry the minced meat in a frying pan until tender, until the liquid evaporates.
2. Cut the onion into half rings, pour vinegar 9% and water, and leave for 10 minutes to remove the bitterness. Then drain the water and vinegar.
3. Add the pepper mixture and basil to the minced meat, and you can also add chopped hot pepper or chili sauce.
4. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
5. Roll out the dough well, put it on a baking sheet covered with parchment, grease it with ketchup, put the minced meat on top, grease it with ketchup, and put the onion on top. Sprinkle cheese over the top.
6. Carefully seal the edges of the pie, tuck in, and make punctures with a fork.
7. Put the pie in the oven for 20 minutes at 180°C.
