A delicious, hearty, and crispy pizza can be prepared in just 5 minutes. The reason is that instead of using traditional yeast dough, we use ordinary pita bread. It is very quickly toasted in a frying pan and goes well with the toppings.

The idea of making homemade pizza in a skillet was published on Olha Holovina's (olha.holovina) Instagram page.

Ingredients:

  • pita bread –1 pc
  • sausage/ham/boiled chicken fillet – 200 g
  • hard cheese – 200 g
  • corn – 3 tbsp
  • tomato – 1 pc
  • sour cream/mayonnaise – 1 tbsp
  • tomato sauce – 2 tbsp

Method of preparation:

1. Take a round pita bread or cut a circle from a rectangular one according to the diameter of the pan. We need two circles.

2. Put the first pita bread on a dry frying pan, and sprinkle it with grated hard cheese.

3. Cover with the second pita bread. Spread it with sour cream and tomato sauce.

4. Top with diced sausage, tomato slices, and corn.

5. Sprinkle with grated cheese, cover, and cook for a few minutes over medium heat until the cheese melts.
