Pita bread chebureks: the perfect recipe for those who don't want to work with dough
Everyone loves chebureks. Although you don't need to have any special skills to make them, you still have to work with the dough. That's why many housewives give up on the idea of making them.
With the recipe of food blogger Olha Riabenko, anyone can now make chebureks, because there is no need to knead the dough. On Instagram, she shared how to make delicious pita bread pasties.
Ingredients:
- Minced meat - 500 gr
- Water - 150 ml
- Salt
- Pepper
- Parsley or cilantro
- Onions - 2 pcs
- Hard cheese - 200 gr
- Round pita bread - 8-10 pieces
- Oil for frying
Method of preparation:
1. Add grated or blended onion, chopped herbs, salt, pepper, and water to the minced meat.
2. Immerse the pita bread completely in water for 2 seconds until softened.
3. Put the minced meat on one half of the pita bread, grated cheese on top, and cover with the other half. Press the edges well.
4. Fry over moderate heat until cooked.
