Zucchini can be pickled with onions, peppers, tomatoes, and spices. To keep them spicy, don't skimp on the spices and be sure to sterilize the jars thoroughly.

A cook shared a recipe for delicious zucchini for the winter, which are cooked with tomatoes and onions, on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • 2 kg of zucchini
  • 1 sweet pepper (preferably red)
  • 1 apple
  • 1 onion
  • 1-2 chili peppers
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 70 g of tomato paste
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 100 g of 9% vinegar
  • 50 g of salt

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the zucchini into long bars.

2. Pass all other vegetables through a meat grinder. Put in a saucepan, add salt, sugar, tomato paste, and vinegar and bring to a boil.

3. Put the zucchini in a saucepan and stir. At first, there will be little liquid, but then the zucchini will begin to give off moisture. When it boils, cook over medium heat for an hour.
