Pickled tomatoes for winter: how to prepare a sweet marinade for canning
To successfully pickle tomatoes for the winter, it is enough to properly prepare the marinade and add as many aromatic herbs and spices to the canning as possible. Thus, the vegetables become very flavorful and soft, at the same time holding their shape well.

Ingredients:
- tomatoes
- dill, parsley
- garlic - 1-2 cloves (in one jar)
- bay leaves - 1 pc (in one jar)
- coriander peas - 0.5 tsp.
- black pepper peas - 5-8 pcs
Marinade for 1 liter of water:
- sugar - 5 tbsp.
- salt - 1 tbsp.
- vinegar - 3 tbsp. l.
Method of preparation:
1. Wash tomatoes. Where the "tails" make punctures with a toothpick and small cuts crosswise.
2. Place sprigs of dill and parsley, coriander, pepper, chopped garlic and bay leaves on the bottom of each jar.
3. Tamp the tomatoes.
4. Pour hot boiling water over the tomatoes. Cover with lids and leave for 15 minutes.
5. Next, drain the water from the jars and mix with salt, sugar and vinegar. Put on the fire, bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
6. Pour the marinade over the tomatoes and cover with lids. Turn the jars upside down and leave to cool.
