Food blogger Vladimir Yaroslavsky knows exactly how to make a pickled sweet cherry salad. On Instagram, he explained how to marinate cherries properly and what other ingredients are needed for this dish.

Ingredients for pickling cherries

  • Pitted sweet cherries - 300 gr
  • Wine vinegar - 20 ml
  • Sugar - 30 gr
  • Salt - 10 grams
  • Water - 200 ml
  • Cinnamon
  • Cardamom
  • Pink pepper
  • Tarragon

Ingredients for the salad

  • Green salad leaves or arugula
  • Tomatoes
  • Cream cheese
  • Walnuts
  • Honey
  • Butter

How to cook

1. First, marinate the sweet cherries. Pit the cherries, pierce some of the seeds and put them in a jar.

2. Heat water with vinegar, sugar, spices and salt. Bring to a boil and pour over the jar of cherries. Let it cool down. The cherries are ready.

3. Put green lettuce leaves on a plate.

4. Add the chopped tomatoes.

5. Spoon the cream cheese all over the plate.

6. Fry the walnuts in a frying pan, chop with a knife and add to the general plate.
