Pepper is a wonderful autumn vegetable that can be used to make many delicious dishes. For example, you can eat it raw, add it to salads, make adjika, lecho, and also stuff it deliciously, bake it in the oven with vegetables, and add it to a kebab.

Today, FoodOboz is sharing an exclusive recipe for pickled peppers with honey for the winter, which always turns out to be very tasty, aromatic, and spicy.

Ingredients:

  • Rotunda pepper - 3.5 kg
  • honey or sugar - 1 cup
  • vinegar - 0.5 cups
  • oil - 1 cup
  • water - 5 cups
  • salt - 1 tbsp. 

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the peppers and remove the seeds from them.
  2. Cut into 4 pieces.
  3. Marinade: Pour oil, and water into a saucepan, add honey, salt, and mix.
  4. Add the pepper, bring to a boil, cook for another 5-10 minutes, turn off the heat, and add the vinegar.
  5. Prepare the jars in advance, put the peppers in, and preserve.
  6. Turn the jars upside down, wrap them in a warm cloth, and leave them to cool completely.
