Pickled mackerel that can be eaten the next day: the most successful recipe for hot marinade
Mackerel is one of the most delicious and budget-friendly products. It can be baked, stewed, marinated, and added to salads.
Cook Alina shared a recipe for delicious pickled mackerel with onions and hot marinade on her YouTube channel.
Ingredients:
- mackerel - 1 pc.
Marinade:
- salt - 2 tsp.
- sugar - 1 tsp.
- bay leaf - 2 pcs.
- coriander seeds - 0.5 tsp.
- black pepper - 0.5 tsp.
- water - 200 ml
- vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.
- 6% apple cider vinegar - 1 tbsp.
- onion - 1 pc.
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the mackerel, remove the head and entrails. Cut into pieces.
2. For the marinade, mix oil, spices, salt, sugar, water, vinegar, and bay leaf and heat well in a water bath.
3. Cut the onion into rings and place the fish on the bottom of the mold on top.
4. Pour the hot marinade over the fish, cover and refrigerate.
