Pickled cucumbers with mustard in 5 minutes: preparing a refreshing summer appetizer
A delicious steak or flavorful barbecue is always a good idea to serve with an interesting appetizer. While in winter it's enough to open a jar of canned food, in summer you can make a quick dish using fresh vegetables.
A food blogger with the nickname zhuravlina_cooking shared how to make pickled cucumbers with mustard on Instagram. The result is a delicious appetizer that takes only 5 minutes to prepare.
Ingredients:
- Gherkin cucumbers - 1 kg
- Dill - 1 bunch
- Green onions - 1 bunch
- Oil - 2 tbsp.
- Garlic - 6 cloves.
- Mustard in grains
- Salt - 1/2 tsp.
- Vinegar - 1-2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Cut off all the excess from the cucumbers, cut into 4 parts. Put them in a bag.
2. Chop the greens and add them to the cucumbers. Also add salt, vinegar, oil, garlic, and mustard seeds.
3. Close the bag tightly. Shake well for several minutes to mix all the ingredients.
4. For a more intense flavor, leave to marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
